The William Cocke House is an historic house near Rutledge, Tennessee. The Greek Revival house was built in 1850. It was the home of William Michael Cocke. A member of a politically prominent family, he represented Grainger County in both the Tennessee House of Representatives and Tennessee Senate, and served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1845 to 1849. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.〔 ==References==
